Observer ScreenshotAs the industry standard for video monitoring and logging, the new Volicon Observer® family of products captures, stores, and indexes broadcast content from multiple channels, offering users simultaneous, 24/7 access to video from their desktop computers. The Observer products bring new levels of efficiency to critical broadcasting tasks including monitoring and troubleshooting transmissions, ensuring compliance, verifying advertising broadcasts, and tracking and analyzing viewer ratings and public relations information.
The award winning Observer real-time, digital video monitoring and logging solutions are based on Volicon’s patent-pending Video Monitoring Architecture (VMA). VMA is comprised of a multi-channel video streaming engine, interactive search, content analytics, and service monitoring and alarming capabilities.
The Observer Remote Program Monitor (RPM) is Volicon’s advanced solution for MSOs, independent cable operators, IPTV, and satellite operators who need to automatically evaluate the quality of their linear, on-demand, and interactive content and advertising. Designed to monitor NOC/headend and remote hubsite broadcasts from a central location, the Observer RPM scans hundreds of channels around the clock and automatically tests signal integrity, issues alerts (via e-mail and SNMP), and captures the problematic content when channels do not conform to pre-specified limits.
Volicon’s Content Matching module is the solution for fingerprinting and alerting users to matched content. As part of the Observer and Producer product lines it is designed specifically to meet the needs of broadcasters, advertisers, government agencies and media monitoring professionals who are charged with proof of performance, competitive monitoring of advertisements in the broadcast space and for agencies that need to be alerted to broadcasting of content of interest.
